Finally this blog is up! I have wanted to do a Pens blog for the longest time, now finally I have put the site up. For those who don’t know me I’m Bob Buskirk and I’m from Pittsburgh. I have been running websites since 2001 and I started blogging back in 2005. My main website, which is my fulltime job is ThinkComputers, sticking with the “Think” name I named this site ThinkPenguins, since ThinkPens.com was taken. The site is running on Wordpress, which is probably the most used blogging platform out there. The site was just put up so if you notice any errors please let me know.
As far as hockey goes I have been a hockey fan for as long as I remember. I remember the “good ole days” of the 90-91 and 91-92 seasons vividly. I also played both roller and ice hockey when I was in high school. We have seen the pens go through a lot since those seasons!
As far as the blog goes it will be my thoughts on the games, penguins’ news, nhl news, and pretty much anything to do with the pens. I have a few friends that are also interested in contributing to the site so if they decide to help out they will be able to introduce themselves on the blog.
